Elizer has been in foster care since he was almost 2 years old. Unfortunately, he had to be removed from his mother's care. Since then, Elizer has been in several foster homes and treatment facilities due to the damage he endured during a beating as a child. Last year, Elizer came out as gay and wishes to begin dressing in a more feminine manner. It has tremendously helped his self-esteem to be supported by his foster family during this transition.
