Groceries for Jimmy who is need of food while he secures employment

Jimmy is now in stable housing but has no income to purchase groceries at this time. This has motivated Jimmy to continue applying to local jobs near his residence, but he is still unemployed after completing a few interviews. He has been referred to Cal-Fresh for food stamps, but the funding is limited as DPSS is considering his getting assistance for housing to be a source of income, which lowers his food stamps amount. Jimmy is requesting a gift card to Target so that he can purchase some groceries for the next few weeks until he has obtained employment. This request has been split into three wishes to allow for a successful shopping trip. This is wish 2 of 3.
Jimmy is 20 years old and lives in CA
Jimmy is highly motivated to play football and baseball while attending college. Jimmy has reported that sports is his motivation to continue with his education and hopes to one day receive a college scholarship from either football or baseball. Jimmy is living independently and is trying to financially support himself.
