Elijah is recently gained admission at Essex County College, he is in need of laptop to completed his virtual summer classes and assignments. Elijah has tried to complete the enrollment process via phone, his phone does not have features that will allow him to input all the needed information and add attachments. Elijah also meets with his case manager and other support services virtually. His meetings would be much more productive if he had a laptop that he could use to take employment assessments, create resumes and cover letters, and join zoom meetings. Elijah is developing into a wonderful young man who will soon age out of the foster care system. Elijah would benefit greatly from having the proper technology at his disposal to research and complete adult tasks.
