A New Outfit for Brooklyn to wear to school after the Holiday break.

Posted Jan 1, 2022
Brooklyn wishes for a new outfit to wear to school after the Holiday break. This would give her fresh motivation and perspective on heading back to school. Clean fresh new clothes would help her feel good about herself and help her ready to face the world.

Brooklyn is 17 years old and lives in NC

Brooklyn came into care scared and had difficulty trusting adults. She cares deeply for others and wants to be able to put her faith in family and friends but due to what she has been through struggles with this. She likes pets, dressing up, music, and crafts. She also likes time to herself, reading, and viewing nature scenes.

"Hi Brooklyn, I hope you enjoy your gift! May the new year bring you peace, joy, and happiness :) Best wishes, Elias P.S. Here's a little poem that helped me through tough times <3 “Life is unpredictable, It changes with the seasons, Even your coldest winter Happens for the best of reasons, And though it feels eternal, Like all you'll ever do is freeze, I promise spring is coming, And with it, brand new leaves” ― Erin Hanson"
