Candace is a hard-working, full time college student who also works part-time. She is very independent and self-motivated. Candace lost her mother a few years ago and her sister moved out of the household. She had to take care of many responsibilities and needed lots of support. She found the way to follow up with her caseworker and other community service providers to be able to find housing stability. She is a great example of a youth in the foster system who goes from surviving to thriving. She wants to work in the music industry one day. Candace is passionate about helping others and providing support to people in need.
