Big Wishes!

Each year One Simple Wish uses crowdfunding to grant dozens of wishes that exceed the $500 limit on our traditional wish-granting platform. These wishes are typically for critical needs, housing support, educational expenses, car repairs and other larger expenses.

and her sister were facing the heartbreak of losing a parent. Their bio mom’s health was rapidly declining and they desperately wanted one last chance to hold their mom’s hand and tell her how much they love her. You all collectively raised enough for Lexie, her daughter and her sister to all fly to see their mom and Lexie told us, “My family and I are so grateful for the opportunity you gave to us. It was such a scary time for us and I wasn’t sure how I was going to make it there to see our mom before her health declined even more, but you all made that happen.”

Sadly, while in foster care, Nneze experienced abusive homes, aging out and then homelessness.She worked hard to provide a roof over her head, but then experienced gun violence. Nneze made a wish to pay off her school balance so she could move to a safer community, attend a new school and be closer to her siblings. You all made her wish come true in a matter of hours!
