Alexis entered the Foster Care system at the age of 8 and entered transitional housing at 21. She just graduated from Cal State Los Angeles and will be starting school at UCS for Social Work! She wants to positively impact the US and child welfare system as a Social Worker. In her free time, she likes to collect crystals, do all types of art, and do yoga/meditation. Alexis just moved into her first apartment with her 2 cats Athena and Medusa. She envisions a warm and cozy home with dark colors and pops of lighter color. For Alexis, having a home means finally having stability and something that belongs to her. Alexis is so excited to finally have a place where she feels comfortable!
