Alberto is a 4th year undergraduate psychology major and is looking forward to pursuing his graduate studies in counseling psychology following the completion of his bachelor’s degree this fall. In his words, “I only want to try and make life easier for those around me, and I feel like helping people with their mental health is the way to go”. He has come quite a way since his start and has consistently shown his dedication to his academic achievement, having secured his position on the dean’s honors list every semester of enrollment here at CSULB. In addition to his studies, Alberto has taken on contract work with an editing company, as the additional income helps cover the cost of his housing and minimize his reliance on loans and grants.
