Tehmecko is a client of the South Central Regional Center. He lives in a Regional Center home for adults and also has 2 siblings that he does not live with. He has his own room in the home he is learning life skills, which include cooking, cleaning and how to manage everyday tasks. He is currently receiving 25 hours of Independent Living Services (ILS) weekly through the Regional Center. The ILS program provides him with skills on how to apply for jobs, enrolling into school and how to obtain skills and knowledge for everyday living. He is also in a program through the Regional Center called Emerging Integrated Services that he attends Monday-Friday. The program teaches him skills that will possibly lead to employment in the future.
