Damian entered foster care when he was only six years old, and upon exiting care at 18, chose to participate in a Life Skills Program where he currently resides. Damian has experienced many challenges in his life but his sense of resiliency is always evident and a source of inspiration for others. Damian has been employed as a restaurant server since he came to the Transitional Living Program and is one of their most valuable staff members because of his effortless ability to engage with everyone he interacts with and brings a smile to all who are lucky enough to meet him. Damian is a hard worker and splits his earnings toward a savings account for his first apartment and the many repairs necessary on the vehicle he recently purchased for transportation to and from work.
