April is a peer mentor and one of the peer organizers who help young people select and participate community service projects. While she is often quiet and reserved, she can still be counted on to encourage other young women. A college transfer, she feels more confident at the current college she is in. She has been making great strides in school and taking care of her mental and emotional health and feels more comfortable about her future.
