Lauren is a sweet, caring, intelligent young woman, who is transitioning into adulthood. She was adopted as a child, yet still had to enter the foster care system. She has had many challenges in her life, but is now living on her own in a transitional independent living program, paying her own bills, attending college in hopes of becoming a cosmetologist, taking care of her guinea pigs, and doing the best she can to stay in contact with those persons important to her life. Lauren enjoys art, taking care of her plants, swimming, cooking, and working her part-time job. Lauren could really use the extra boost that the One-Simple Wish organization can potentially give her, in order to reach her goals in life.
