Loe is one of those students whose resilience and grit shine through in everything they do. At the age of 18, Loe graduated from high school with a full-ride scholarship to college while simultaneously aging out of the system with no adult, guardian, or mentor support to lean on. They studied Film and Media Arts but were forced to put their education on hold when they turned 21 and their extended foster care benefits ended. They have spent the past three years working to get their body and their mind out of survival mode in order to sustain themselves and their mental, emotional, and physical strength. They are now at a place where they are ready to explore their full potential and begin to start truly living, not just surviving.
