Sydney is in a kinship foster home with her brother. She and her brother were transferred from Ohio to stay with their sister, Gloria, and her family. Despite all the hardships life has dealt her, Sydney is still a vibrant and happy person who wants the best for everyone. She is extremely hard-working, balancing school, sports, and a job.
