At 19, Halle is a high school graduate who has faced more than her share of life's challenges. Her battle with cancer, coupled with her family's struggle with housing instability and their fight against poverty didn't diminish Halle's spirit or cause her to lose her joy. Amidst these struggles, Halle's commitment to her family shines the brightest. She has been a support for her mother and her siblings, providing care and strength in their most challenging times while they have struggled with poverty and homelessness, especially to her two siblings with special needs. Her dedication to her education, even securing an internship with the District Attorney speaks volumes about her ambition. She has been accepted into Kennesaw State University and will start next fall. Her dream is to be a defense attorney to stand up for justice for families who don't have the resources to pay for it. Her desire is to make a positive impact in the world.
