Marissa is a responsible girl who, despite many challenges, has maintained a high GPA. She is currently in foster care. She is a self-starter, responsible, highly motivated, and very hardworking. Marissa is planning to attend a college course at her local community college during the summer. She is part of an immersion program that will provide her with different college-ready opportunities and experiences. Marissa hopes to attend college after graduation.
