Rin lives as a participant in a semi-assisted living program for Transition-Aged Youth. She graduated from high school and is working toward attending college, where she plans to major in creative writing. Rin entered the Department of Human Services (DHS) care as a teen and later moved with a family member. However, she reentered DHS care and has been in the system ever since. By the time she turned 18, Rin had lived in 10 different placements. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, participating in Dungeons & Dragons (DnD) with friends, writing poetry, and reading books.
