Anthony is a former foster youth. At the age of 17, he was fortunate to be moved to live with his aunt, where he stayed until he got his own apartment at the age of 22. Throughout his time in foster care, Anthony constantly felt like it was a rollercoaster to navigate—talking to his case manager, hiding that he was in care from his friends, and desperately trying to feel “normal” in a world where many others have two parents and loving families. Through trial and error and finding his tribe of people, he was able to persevere in the system. Anthony's interests vary, but he loves to travel and interact with different walks of life. Reading has always been something he enjoys, as it takes him to a new world. He also enjoys salsa dancing and working on his lifestyle blog, where he shares his personal story of triumph.
