Damien enjoys playing video games with his older sister, playing sports such as pickleball, basketball, and football, and watching TV and YouTube videos. He is doing well in school, and despite the traumatic past he has experienced due to his mother's substance use, he remains focused on a positive future. His mother has now been sober for six months and is working long hours just to keep up with the bills. As a result, financial resources are very limited for the family. This family has really put their best foot forward to make positive changes for themselves, both as individuals and the family as a whole.
