Jeilyn lost her mother at the tender age of 5, without fully understanding the depth of what was happening. Her aunt took her and her two brothers in, providing a home but not filling the emotional void. Despite ongoing challenges, Jeilyn pushes through every day with resilience and strength. She earned an associate's degree while simultaneously completing high school, and is now a junior enrolled at a university as a Pre-Med major.
