John has been in the child welfare system for a few years. During this time, he has experienced many behavioral issues and has had stays in a behavioral facility. John has gone several months without having any behavior issues. He was recently granted the opportunity to participate in full-day school sessions in a general education classroom! John enjoys learning about animals. He enjoys animal books and watching animal shows on TV. His favorite animal is the sloth. The sloth is one of his fondest memories from going to the zoo when he was a little boy with his mom, and it is a tie to his mom. John also enjoys spending time outside.
