Axel has overcome many obstacles in more recent events, they have recently persevered through an abusive relationship. Through the support of friends and their spiritual beliefs, Axel is now working with other people who have or are facing abusive relationships and giving back to the community while persevering and sharing their own lived experience and trauma. Axel is currently in school to become a domestic violence counselor, and they enjoy hiking, meditation, and classical music.
