Marquise is a bright young man who is currently living in a transitional living program (TLP) with a dozen other youths who are in extended foster care. Though Marquise has faced challenges within foster care, he has remained resilient and focused on his accomplishments. Marquise has completed all required exams for his GED within a matter of 2 weeks. He has gained employment and enrolled in a culinary program since his enrollment into the TLP program. Although Marquise is still debating if college is the route he wants to take, he is pursuing certifications until he is sure of his next move. He has recently obtained certification in forklifts. He is quiet, always well-mannered, and has a smile that lights up a room.
