Mez is an incredible young man. Growing up was not easy for him. He was placed in kinship care with his grandparents at a very early age. Unfortunately, when his grandmother passed away, he was moved around several times among other family members. As a teenager, he entered foster care and eventually aged out of the system. However, he didn’t let these challenges stop him. Mez completed his education and has been attending community college. He works full-time and has rented his first house. He works hard, and everyone who knows him loves him. His smile truly lights up the room.
