Casandra is a Physics major with a minor in Mathematics. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is a mother of three. Despite facing several challenges in her life, Casandra has never wavered in her determination to achieve her goals and provide for her children. A pivotal moment for her came when she met her fiancé, who has been a source of support and encouragement. Recently, she had an exciting internship opportunity at Fermilab, a leading particle physics research facility in Illinois. Fermilab collaborates with CERN in Switzerland on particle accelerator projects, and Casandra enjoyed the unique work environment there. Alongside her internship, she continues to teach and tutor, successfully balancing her academic and professional commitments.
