My'Kiera has faced much adversity throughout her young life, navigating the foster care system. She recently became the first person in her family to earn a high school diploma and will participate in her high school graduation. My'Kiera is looking forward to her new role as a mother. She plans to pursue higher education to continue to impact her life and her community positively.
