Ashley spent one year in the foster care system, where she developed into a dedicated and determined individual. Her experiences inspired her to motivate and positively impact others. Some of her favorite activities include working out, cooking, caring for her cats, going to the beach, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying a night out. Although her time in the system was brief, it made her stronger and wiser, shaping the person she is today. Ashley’s goals include returning to school next year to pursue a master’s degree in social work. She aspires to become a social worker or counselor and eventually wants to establish her own nonprofit mental health center. In addition, she hopes to start a family somewhere along her journey.
