Renee entered foster care at the age of 14. As an older teen, despite facing many challenges, she became one of the youth leaders who advocated for important legislation that benefited youth aging out of foster care. Unfortunately, a few years ago, she lost everything, including a loved one, in a trailer fire. Since then, she has been on a healing journey. Her young son brings her comfort, and there is nothing she wouldn't do for him. To make ends meet, she works two jobs and has a passion for working with color and makeup.
