Jackie has been in over 20 foster homes during her three separate experiences in the foster care system. Despite her challenging childhood, she remains hopeful. She successfully completed her first semester at community college and is taking full advantage of the services her college offers. Jackie is actively seeking part-time employment to help cover her monthly expenses. She loves to cook and looks forward to having a roommate one day. She enjoys having a plan—not just for the year ahead, but even for tomorrow.
