Jameah is a resilient young woman who spent eight years in the foster care system. One of the biggest challenges she faced was losing her mother at a young age. Her passing left an indescribable void and forced her to navigate a completely different reality. During her time in the system, school and choir provided her with comfort; being part of the chamber choir was one of the best experiences she ever had. A piece of advice she would give to someone in foster care is to keep going, as there is still a lot of good to be found amid the bad. She is most proud of herself for staying committed to her art, despite the ups and downs of life. Art has been her constant, her passion, and her outlet, and being dedicated to it has allowed her to accomplish many amazing things at her age. Her goal in life is to make plans as she goes. She would like to get her driver's license and start driving. In her free time, her favorite activities include doing artwork and playing video games.
