Luis, originally from Guatemala, currently resides in Connecticut with his mother. Although he endured police brutality and violence during his journey to the United States, he has managed to remain emotionally stable. Luis enjoys attending school and is grateful to be reunited with his mother after three long years apart. In addition to his academic pursuits, Luis has a deep passion for music.
