Miyanah is an extraordinary young woman. Having grown up in foster care and facing challenges related to juvenile justice, she has shown incredible resilience and personal growth. Over the past year, she has successfully passed her classes, maintained a part-time job, and actively engaged with support services. Thanks to her hard work, Miyanah has transferred back to her high school, where she is now enrolled full-time. She is also playing on the school’s softball team and is on track to graduate in the spring. Her determination to stay on a positive path is truly inspiring. Miyanah's primary goal is to attend community college after graduating from high school, with the aim of eventually transferring to a four-year university that has a women’s softball team. She hopes to continue playing first base at that level.
