Karmelo entered foster care due to behavioral challenges that led his family to make the difficult decision to give up on him. He is now thriving in his foster placement, supported by various services. Despite experiencing severe trauma, Karmelo remains strong. He has become an advocate for himself and has learned to express his needs constructively. He is funny, empathetic, and passionate about fashion. Karmelo enjoys playing sports, especially basketball, and aspires to play at the university level one day.
