Troy is the only boy among four children in his family and receives supportive services from the Department of Children and Family Services. He lives with his mother who has cognitive impairment and his beloved maternal grandfather. Troy is very active and enjoys playing outside. He participates in sports throughout the year, including soccer, basketball, and baseball. He reports that he likes school and that math and gym are his favorite subjects.
