Jayenick has brought up how schoolwork can be challenging at times due to her not having a laptop. She has been using her phone to look up assignments posted online and look up additional information for her work. She said it is stressful for her and takes up a lot more time than she expected. A laptop will help her finish her schoolwork at a better pace as well as help her apply to jobs in the future.
Jayenick is 19 years old and lives in NJ
Jayenick is a high school student who just moved to the US from Haiti at the beginning of the school year. Although she was in a new place she was able to accel in her schoolwork and now looks to find a job that works around her schedule. While she is driven, she has no familial support in the country and is currently in the care of DCPP.
