Groceries for Deborah, a single mom who aged out of foster care

Posted Dec 2, 2022
Deborah needs to have a bit of help with her little family with some groceries. She has accessed resources and has been doing her part to make sure that Avery is taken care of. She has done all the right and needed things to get things she can to make a life for her little girl. This is just a hand up in a time of need.

Deborah is 23 years old and lives in MO

Deborah was in foster care until she aged out. She does not have any family and raises a little girl named Avery. She loves her little girl very much. She is a loving and caring mom. She works part time and then her little girl got sick, and she was left without a job due to various reasons. She is now awaiting a new job and finds herself trying to find a caregiver and babysitter for Avery. Resources are available to help her, and we are working on this. Deborah has been assisted with other services and things are going forward to help her. She loves being with her little girl, watching movies, and doing puzzles. She also loves reading books and of course Avery is loving to have mom read to her. A great mom with a sweet little girl.

"Dearest Mary Jane, and Rich, thank you with all that I am for the grocery card. I was able to get food for us and some foods that little Avery loves. This means so much to me. I was floundering around because I had lost my job and was in a waiting process for help. I do not like to ask for help but I looked at Avery and wiping my tears I found out I could submit a wish. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. I hope I can pay it forward someday as I have an interview for a job. Sending our love to you "
