Jose would love a shopping trip to Academy to replace many of his favorite sport items. He recently was granted a new bike which he will be so excited to get for Christmas. Through his various moves recently he has lost many of his favorite items. It would be an amazing gift to shop for new sports items such as footballs, basketballs and shoes.
Jose is 15 years old and lives in TX
Jose's favorite color is red. He loves animals and once had a bird as a pet. Jose is incredibly creative and loves to paint and draw. Jose is also an Unaccompanied Refugee Minor (URM.) He came to the United States when he was 11 and spent some months in a detention facility before being moved to a foster group home in California. He hails from Guatemala and although painfully shy has learned some English. Recently Jose’s legal status changed, and he had to move to Texas. He is very sad to have left everything behind again.
