Lauren is having a difficult time paying her bills, as well as her school loan. She is attending a City College, working part-time, and in the Guardian Scholars Program in order to work toward becoming a cosmetologist. Paying off her school loans will give her the hope she needs in order to believe that someone is looking out for her. She has to pay her insurance and registration, pay for food, her books, household items, food for her guinea pigs, electric bills, and the list goes on. She is very sweet, and would be appreciative of anything that can be done to support her educational endeavors.
Lauren is 21 years old and lives in CA
Lauren is a sweet, caring, intelligent young woman, who is transitioning into adulthood. She was adopted as a child, yet still had to enter the foster care system. She has had many challenges in her life, but is now living on her own in a transitional independent living program, paying her own bills, attending college in hopes of becoming a cosmetologist, taking care of her guinea pigs, and doing the best she can to stay in contact with those persons important to her life. Lauren enjoys art, taking care of her plants, swimming, cooking, and working her part-time job. Lauren could really use the extra boost that the One-Simple Wish organization can potentially give her, in order to reach her goals in life.
