Sofia was in foster care for two years before being placed in kinship care with her amazing grandmother. Sofia had a difficult time transitioning out of her biological mom's care, and struggled with anxiety and anger issues as she worked to understand what she was going through. Her grandmother found that many of the local daycare centers were not equipped to help Sofia, so her only option was to enroll her in a private preschool. While this was a very financially difficult decision, it was by far the easiest decision she has made for Sofia's well-being. With the love and support of the teachers, she began to excel - overcoming her anger issues and moving forward in her life. After being at the school for six years, her grandmother is worried that she may not be able to make the deadline for the registration fee, which is needed to secure her spot at the school next year. Sofia's grandmother budgets very carefully to make her tuition payments, but recently lost a client and will not have the funding needed to make the extra deposit for registration. This wish will mean the world to both Sofia and her grandmother!
