Tony wishes for a set of pots and pans because he wants to learn to cook. He has mainly been living off of microwave food and has decided it’s time he learns some basic cooking skills. He feels this will make life a little better for him and help him be more independent.
Tony is 26 years old and lives in NC
Tony is a happy go lucky aged out foster kid who is struggling to make it in life. He has had so many losses and lived in so many homes he had become homeless and has tried hard to get straightened out. He recently got his drivers licenses and completed his GED. He is so proud of these huge accomplishment! He still struggles with housing and is afraid of becoming homeless. He recently enrolled in the criminal justice program at the Community College and hopes to better himself.

At first, it may seem difficult but many people find cooking to be relaxing. Do start simple (hamburgers!) and take it step by step. You can start your own recipe book by talking to people at work -- they will probably love to give you their favorite recipes! have fun, Tony!"
