Javon is currently waiting to begin work again. He was working in a warehouse before his work got put on hold. While waiting, he hopes to get a new pair of shoes to be ready to go. He now has a pair of shoes that are a couple of years old and worn. A new pair of shoes will help him be more comfortable at the warehouse and safe while doing all the many tasks he's responsible for. He can't wait to be running back and forth again with his work team!
Javon is 26 years old and lives in CA
Javon is a former foster youth who has been on his own since turning 18 and aging out of the system. He preferred to handle his life on his own rather than continue to transition from one unstable or unhealthy environment to another. Javon is currently working a good job and striving to get his own apartment next year. While things in LA can be hard during a pandemic, Javon refuses to give up.
