Maliya has always looked forward to the day when she was able to drive! She has set many goals related to driving, including getting a part-time job and saving money for a used car - both of which she has done! Now, she is in need of support with a driver's education course so that she can be sure that she is safe on the road. As the oldest of nine, she knows she will be driving her younger siblings around so she wants to be sure that she is the safest driver she can be!
Maliya is 16 years old and lives in NE
Maliya is an incredible young woman who has faced an extraordinary amount of loss and trauma in her life, much more than any child should have to endure. She is currently in foster care. Despite her struggles in forming connections and her tendency to keep to herself, Maliya is a remarkably bright and affectionate young lady. Once she opens up, she is incredibly funny, quick-witted, and an all-around joy to be around!
