Allen is looking to move forward in his career. He is currently attending welding classes and working towards a GED. His biggest barrier is not having his own personal laptop. He is trying to update his resume, build a cover letter, apply for jobs and complete his GED classes by using public computers. If he didn't have to ride the bus to the library and had his own laptop, he feels that he would be much more successful. This would be an impactful investment into Allen's future and he would be forever thankful!

Allen is a kind hearted young man who is caring, thoughtful and soft spoken. Allen has lived in many different places and faced many difficult situations that he has overcome. He recently moved into his own place and has become a strong advocate for himself. He is speaking up about his goals for his future and taking the steps to accomplishing them. Allen is working and paying his bills on his own. He is learning what it takes to become a productive member of society.
