Kirsten has been living in a shelter since the beginning of last winter. Since arriving at the shelter, she has been able to concentrate on her mental and physical health needs and has obtained employment as a Level 1 Med Aide, which she absolutely loves! She has finally saved up enough to get her first place and is overwhelmed with the joy and pride that comes with knowing she has achieved stability herself. Unfortunately, her savings were depleted fixing her car, so she is a bit worried that she will not have enough to pay the full amount needed upfront to move. She has found resources to help pay for her deposit and provide some household items, but she is still needing help with her first month of rent. Kirsten is about to be a success story and just needs a little extra help to get her into the apartment.
