A super cool trampoline with enclosure for Silas to have loads of fun

Posted May 29, 2023
Silas has several friends that have trampolines and when he gets to play on them when he visits he has so much fun and never wants to stop jumping. He is always asking for a trampoline of his own and gets disappointed when he never gets one. Silas would be the happiest little boy ever if he were to receive his very own trampoline. He would probably want to jump all the time if he gets one!

Silas is 9 years old and lives in TX

Silas entered this world fighting for his life because of all the drugs in his system. He spent two months in the NICU withdrawing from a variety of drugs. Shortly after birth, Silas suffered a stoke which left him with some paralysis in the left side of his body making it difficult for him to walk and develop gross and fine motor skills. As a result, it was difficult for him to learn to walk, run, and simple things like hold a pencil to write. He was soon sent to live with his grandmother who got him involved in as many types of therapy as she could find for him. Today is doing well and only struggles with speech and reading. He enjoys creating math problems and solving them in his head. He is now in 2nd grade and is improving in all academic areas. He is a very sweet and kind boy to others and especially to his brother and sister who were also born addicted to drugs and have their own developmental issues. Silas loves to play outdoors, ride bikes and go camping.
