Lismar loves to read! She has been wanting this book for a while, but has not been able to buy it on her own yet. She would love to spend her summer reading all her favorite books! Lismar is new to the United States and having this book will bring her peace and joy as she adjusts.

Lismar is a cheerful, hardworking, and resilient young woman from Venezuela. She is eager to attend school, learn English, and hopes to pursue a career in nail art someday. Lismar finds joy in unicorns, rainbows, and the color yellow, as they remind her that there is always light and color at the end of even the darkest days.
