Alan recently entered foster care. When he arrived, he didn't have much with him - just the clothes on his back and a pair of worn-out shoes. Unfortunately, he needs new shoes for the upcoming school year and it's not something he can afford on his own. It would be amazing to provide Alan with a couple of new pairs of high-quality shoes to help him out during this tough time.
Alan is 16 years old and lives in CA
When Alan came into the foster care system, he came with only the clothes he was wearing. Unfortunately, he has experienced homelessness and didn't have anyone to look after him. Even though he sometimes stayed with acquaintances, he didn't receive proper care. Despite all of these challenges, he's an incredibly strong person and always shows kindness and respect towards others. Alan has big dreams for his future and he's determined to achieve great things in life.
