Lismar lost a lot of her hair due to sickness and says she misses her long curly hair and the confidence that came with it. She could not afford to buy hair or a wig but got creative and learned to use yarn to add long, color braids to her look. with this yarn Lismar will use it to build her confidence and give herself colorful braids before school starts.
Lismar is 19 years old and lives in AZ
Lismar is a cheerful, hardworking, and resilient young woman from Venezuela. She is eager to attend school, learn English, and hopes to pursue a career in nail art someday. Lismar finds joy in unicorns, rainbows, and the color yellow, as they remind her that there is always light and color at the end of even the darkest days.
