Amelia's family is not wealthy, but they live in a predominantly wealthy area, and she goes to a school where the majority of kids there don't want for anything. Amelia has never cared much about what people think, but she expressed that she would like a new outfit for the first day of school. A gift card to Forever 21 would allow Amelia to pick out some shirts to start school with.

Amelia is a smart and spirited teenager who is outgoing, funny, and loud. She finds humor in everything, mainly as a coping mechanism, but has a natural talent for making people laugh. She is kind-hearted and will go out of her way to help someone in need. She can also get in trouble in class for talking too much, but she gets good grades, so the teachers like having her in class.
