The hardest part about having been in foster care was being away from her brothers, which continues to be a challenge, but she hopes to have a consistent relationship with them one day. Katie is a single mom, who works part-time at a doctor's office and attends school to become a medical assistant.
Katie just finished up her summer class with a 90! She's looking forward to starting her senior year of HS on the right foot. Katie would love to be able to go to American Eagle to shop for new clothes to help strengthen her self-esteem and motivation this academic year.
